Eco Council Diary - what have we done so far...
Read here what the Eco council have been up to on your behalf.
in think this school does ok in bieng eco friendly, but we could do a bit more like maybe geting schools buses instaed of everyone getting the car to school, or even make the school more insutaled so we dont use so much gas ect.
school should make sure that printing is only done when necessary and teachers dont printout pointless work. also they should recycle everything possible, then reuse everything else. - hollie mac

ReplyDeleteAs the scholl uses a lot of paper and has alot of waste paper instead of just binning the paper it can be recycled to be used again and again.

Have an aluminium recycler for the cans we drink in the canteen and mall. Since i can't see any.
ReplyDeletewe should bring back the bin to put empty cans/tins in, use glass and other recycling bins.
ReplyDeleteDont leave all computers on when they are not needed to be on. Also turn air con off to save energy.
ReplyDeleteSwitch off all the monitors, projectors and computers when leaving the room since this will save energy.

Use ultra bright LED's instead of the use halogen lights which consumer a lot more power.

i think schools should turn the computers off properly between lessons saving power. sam w
ReplyDeleteI think that our school is eco friendly, although we could use lessa air conditioning and don't leave the computers on.

i think that we should voice it more and do big campaigns and fun stuff but still telling people what it for and why we are doing it

i think that to improve our school i think that we should try to turn off the air con at times when they are not needed

I think that schools could esily help the enviroment by placing more bins around the playground so litter is not dropped on the floor

the school should try to cut down on the number of peices of paper usedand only do printouts when needed.

we haven't made a significant difference yet however i think once the board is done, it will make a huge difference
