Make a diffrence, Just some small things that can make you more green!
1 - Recycle
Get a free council recycle bin. Recycle your cans, glass, paper and tins without even leaving your house. Recycle your plastic too, we all go to the supermarket, just drop off your plastic there! Like Tesco says 'Every Little Helps'
2 - Reuse
Collect your plastic carier bags and plastic bottles. Take your bags to your next shop and use then to bring your shopping home. Re-fills your plastic bottles with juice or water to take out and baout with you.
3 - Reduce
Then this overall, reduces your carbonfootprint and save the planet!!

Its difficult to do more green things in the Academy like recycling plastic bottles or junk mail as it's having the facilities to do this whereas at home recycling is becoming second nature. I feel so guilty when putting paper/cardboard/bottles in the bin. The next step for me is a composter so that I don't have to throw away food waste. I will be picking up a composter tonight, so I can start doing this. My second thing this year is to have a go at growing my own vegetables; lettuces I hear are quite easy to grow and taste nice when just picked! I will take some photos and post them once set up.
