Eco friendly tip of the day
Packaging made from mixed materials, such as plastic and card, can be difficult and costly to recycle. Try to separate the different materials before placing them in the appropriate bins - or simply avoid products that are trussed up in this unhelpful way.

Tip of the week!
Choose cauliflower, leeks, purple sprouting broccoli, rhubarb and spring onion at the grocer's. Lemons and oranges from Europe are also fair game.
