I think that we should use all of the products that we would usually recycle in school and use them to their full purpose in DT. If we could use some of the glass bottles or paper recycled in school, surely the DT department could help some of the students create something wonderous to show that we understand what the point is for recycling.

im from 6th form so i should get a year 7/8 slave if i win. My comment is that we should first of all bring back the coke vending machines and then bring back the bins which recycled those cans, that made everyone happy and that bin was always full back in the day so it obviously worked. second of all i think we should have a plastic cup recycling bin becos a lot of people drink tea and coffee and then feel guilty about just putting it in the bin. and lastly i think we should create some sort of a solar panel which runs on rain cos that would save alot of energy and would be powered all the time.
ReplyDeleteI would just like to say that i've never heard of this project and I don't see what it is doing around school. Maybe if you put posters of something up round school, people will be more knowledgable and interested.

My sugestion is to get a green school club who go and get the recycle boxes and give them to the head of the club to send off. Or get the school council to go and get all the recycleing stuff to get sent off, and check the printers and stuff like that.

My suggestion is that our canteen need to make less because sometimes there is alot of food going into the rubbish bins in the canteen and the problem is that i the bin contents is about 70% food and 30% rubbish

ReplyDeletedo this "cash for cans" thing, it will increase the school budget and help recyling if you encougage a prize for the best recyling class in the school per term.

ReplyDeleteHi :)....My name is Aniqah. My idea to become more eco-friendly is to have one plant in each classroom so there is more oxygen around the school. Also we could choose some volunteers to plant some flowers outside high up on the grass hill to make the school look very nice. Also choose some people to do a funny eco-friendly show(most likely six formers) and it could feature a very good award for the class that recycles and is most eco-friendliest. The last thing we should have is a plastic recycling bin becuase alot of people get coffee, hot chocolate, water bottles etc and instead of throwing it into a rubbish bin they can throw it into the plastic recycling bin. There should be at least 5 plastic recycling bins around school and 3 outside of school. thank you for reading my ideas...Aniqah Mahmood 8c :)

I think we could make Dixons cleaner by putting recycling bins in most rooms were most paper is used and people get into a good Environment and be Eco friendly.
